Default Heritage Madness

A buddy of mine wants a Heritage Edition Speedster. I personally am not a big Speedster fan but I get it. Its a NA convertible, "limited edition" etc etc. I can see the appeal for some. But in browsing the Porsche configurator today, I came across this beauty. Its only a 45k upgrade for some paint and a decal. Im curious if anyone would pay the premium for this car.

The Speedster- limited car- limited run but a Heritage Targa???? at a 45k premium? What am I missing here.

In fairness there are some options that are not present in the std model.
Wait for the GT3 Touring Heritage model

The PT Barnum quote comes to mind.

Drive a speedster and tell me after you still aren't impressed. It's the best 911 they've made since the RS4.0 IMHO

Ive driven a Speedster. It’s not my cup of tea. But that is a discussion for another thread.

Well, I guess that's why they make so many variants of the 911...a 911 for every taste...

Let me rephrase that. It’s a fine automobile. Its a great driving car. However I don’t see the additional 150k premium over a regular GT3. But YMMV.
