Clearly you don't like open top driving.
In the Ferrari world, do you know how much the special editions convertibles costs more than the coupe version? 150k is nothing. If you factor in the carbon panels (front fenders, front hood, rear clamshell), the standard carbon ceramic brakes, upgraded engine, the price difference is really around 100k (based on my messed up Porsche math)

Which one;
In defense of the Speedster it does at least have a GT motor and a unique body, that's worth something to 1,954 folks.
- “The noblest art is that of making others happy” - Porsche does this well
- “No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else.” Heritage model will set you apart
- “Nobody ever lost a dollar by underestimating the taste of the American public.” Porsche getting in on the act

Christ - Im not saying anything bad about the Speedster so stop the defense of the car. Just cause I dont personally like it, doesnt mean that I dont understand why some people do.
But if you want to defend all things Porsche, by all means justify the Heritage Targa.

I do whoever think that when you look at the range a basic spec GT3 Touring was a steal. Especially when you factor in near zero depreciation.

Have you guys ever specced out a Porsche before? How much CXX options can you get for 45k? The Targa heritage edition has a whole bunch of CXX options included.

Im genuinely curious- what are those options? I could not find details on them. If so, then yes, the 45k could be justified. All I see is some stickers. Couldn't find anything else in terms of options.

Go look at the pictures. It's obvious.
You got special leather, you got special seat inserts, heritage headliner from the earlier air cooled 911s, full leather seat back, etc.

I thought my PTS 911R was a steal, especially when you factor in appreciation. Wait, that might be my 918 Spyder, the gift that keeps on giving. I'm confused now

Agree. Touring was a steal. Even a "regular" GT3 is a steal. Great driving cars.

I guess the prices when compared to Ferrari get resonable. I specced my Pista and 14k for a stripe-
Ok- I get it. Targa Heritage. I guess not for me personally.
