Hi
Has anyone had any particularly good experience with any of the wireless CarPlay adapters ? Carlinkit, Cplay2air, Carplay2air, Carlink 2.0 etc ? I have a 991.2 with CarPlay and would use it more if I didn't have to connect to one of the USB ports. Thinking about buying one of these adapters.
Thanks in advance !

I picked up a carplay2air and it didn’t work in the GT3 or our Macan S. The carplay2air is just a rebranded carlinkit unit. I wouldn’t buy from carplay2air, they list a US office, but it’s just a UPS store mailbox. Any returns have to be mailed back to China.

Interesting, I bought a carplay2air on advice from a friend and after a single firmware update it’s been working great in my 991.2 GT3 and 2016 GLE. Friend has it in his Macan. Just another data point. iPhone does get a bit hot though.

I'm fine with a hardline connection to my GT3. Charges the phone and has a reliable connection to carplay, google maps, spotify, etc.
Not a millennial, so I don't have to look at my phone every second.

Based on the math, I think I'm roughly twice a millennial. I don't need to look at my phone every second either... but like to keep it in my pocket so it's not flying around and not balanced anywhere.
But it sounds like this is hit or miss.

Not sure you would want to put it in your pocket if it ends up getting hot as mentioned in the earlier post.

Are you guys using the 2.0 version? I see 2 versions for sale. I tried the non-2.0 version in my Mercedes and it works pretty well surprisingly! Take about 15 seconds to hookup but does sync up.
