Do you have any data or is your conclusion anecdotal on a single track day at Monticello? I'm not a pro driver, but my lap times at local track including Road America aren't far off so I'm not slow. I'm also aware that each pro-driver has a different setup at a race and it changes as track conditions change and how the driver feels. You make it sound as if the tire difference is like driving with All-Seasons vs R7's. This is as fruitless as debating oil so I'll leave it at that because it's the same discussion.

Sure..............you think the K1 are the same as the Nx in everyway - even tho they can and do have different compounds, can and do have different sidewall, tread and wet characteristics etc, have at it.
Thats why I don't listen to people like you - it works like this, you fit what I say to my car in the way that I want it. If not, I go somewhere else. Why, because I've done a lot more of this than you.
As a comment to your offerings on your website - perhaps you should get some body kits for dimwits from canary wharf, perhaps offer a Cxxx tune![Cheers](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif)

Genuinely intrigued as to where you're getting this info from which makes you so adamant that I'm an idiot and everything i've stated is wrong? Just, it directly contradicts the conversation I had with the lead Technical Manager for Michelin (personal friend) yesterday

I agree with that sentiment, JC. ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
While it's fine to be passionate about this hobby and inevitably a strongly expressed opinion may offend some people on the board, there's really no need for a less than friendly tone. We're all here to enjoy the hobby - there is no point in trying to denigrate others while doing so.

Worth the time to read when considering tires for the GT cars. Yes they are made differently

Some people on this forum are so freaking abrasive, agressive, and condescending it feels like they come on here just to belittle people. I don't care how knowledgeble you are but the way you carry yourselves makes me not want to ever contribute and post to this forum. You know who you are and if you don't then I feel sorry for you.

But you know that.

PeteV seems to usually be right and comments about wear on parts. My thought, use em if the time matters enough to justify the $ for repairs with or, without warranty coverage.

I believe there is marketing hype in N1 and K2 etc specs however I also believe that there is slight differences in the tire manufacturing spec between a regular MPSC2 and a N1 and a K2 version. What that is, I do not claim to know, and Michelin has never published these differences but I believe these differences i could be slight difference in sidewall construction and on regular MPSC2 for N1 or K2 specs could be the difference in inner to outer rubber compound. No one really knows for sure.
It sure would be interesting to know.
I can say this...I have a Pirelli PZero left over from my 2017 GTS and my Ferrari 488 has PZero's and I measured width and there seems to be a slight difference in the Porsche and Ferrari spec. I also have a left over N1 Spec MPSC2 from my 2018 GT3 and it measured wider than the Pirelli PZero...they are all 305-35-20. Interesting!

I ended up just replacing them with OEM N1s. Maybe someone is braver than I am to do this LOL. Feels so much better with new tires anyway, was still on my original set 2.5 years and ~8k miles

Was hoping you were gonna try this out. I may be tempted when it’s time to replace tires. Track connect Cup 2’s sounds enticing as well. I like gadgets, but the R’s look awesome.
