Default Fixing a Totaled 911R

So this guy buys and fixes cars for a living. His videos showed up as "recommended" for me to watch.

I found it interesting that those damages caused the car to be salvaged. I get it... no one wants a beat up 911R.

Disclaimer to "PPF Everything" guys - these videos are probably going to trigger some bad feelings. You have been warned lol

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4 is in the works.... Would love to see how it turns out as the finished project. Glad he is fixing this 911R and giving it another life.

thanks, I enjoy these shows. Not a 991 but if you have time check out "Home Built by Jeff" for his back to metal rebuild of an older 911.

As a matter of fact I watched the first 3 episodes last week. Interesting, but all the while was wondering what 911R aficionados would think of such a car?
Will it be perceived as "That 911R" that was rebuilt?, is it still worthy? Who cares, it's a 911R I got for cheaper price?....

This is just want I want a good wrecked high value car with bondo etc my guess is he thinks it worth $250-300. A limited production wrecked collectible.

Subscribed. Curious to see how much they would get in return if they paid 167,628.00$ for it. Then adding Body work, parts etc. Salvage Title. What yall think?

I think potential buyers will have the same attitude towards that car as they do towards Replica cars: nice looking but not the same as the real thing.

Yikes! That's more than I would pay for it when fully restored with a salvage title!!

I was wondering the same thing. What is the better way of fixing that?

Curious as well. I would not pay 167k for this car when it is fixed.

Cool videos. Must be nice to have that kind of talent. Is that replaced front quarter panel carbon fiber? May have been taken from any 991.

True, while you've got it in the shop stick a Touring 4.0 in there and you've got a better R. (use the SMFW as a dinner plate)

Well, of course it's gonna look bad on carfax etc., but why would it not be worthy if the repairs were done well. Whoever buys that car would be an idiot for not driving the crap out of it.

There's a guy in the UK who's bought a crashed CGT, rebuilt it and put 60 odd thousand miles on it.
