Custom Installed Radar/Laser Systems
Has anyone installed an Escort CI 360 radar/laser shift system in a GT3RS? Looking for options on if it can be done, and where every things would get mounted.

Wow, well done! I have a shop here in WI that has done the installs on my other cars, but nothing as custom as this! Wish you were in WI! Thanks for the help.

I'd recommend looking at https://www.alpriority.com/
You can go alpriority along with the netradar for a proven solution.
Good resources:

it's all documented in the thread - you can see the heads in the last photo before paint correction. Only a single in the rear, mounted in a custom fabricated plate frame. Yes, both are effective.

On my 991’s including the RS, the control module with on on-off, mute button, etc. is custom built into space where the lighter (delete) is and the small screen is built into a custom rear-view mirror. I can send pictures if interested. The system has both radar and laser.

I did the ALP and Net Radar. Two jammers in front and two in the rear mounted on a custom plate frame. The ALP controls are in the ashtray of center console. The system is voice enabled so I do not have a display of any sort in my line of sight. It has worked perfectly for almost two years.

I have a max Ci 360 in one of my cars. It’s been alright. Great radar range, few false signals, and lidar isn’t too advanced in the area so it’s been sufficient for laser.
however, I would go Radenso + ALP for the next time. Radenso is developing their product at a much faster rate, and is already better than escort in several features. ALP is unquestionably the best laser jammer based on all the instrumented testing done to compare laser jammers.
Importantly, make sure you get a good installer. The amount of cars I see with laser jammer heads rendered nearly non function by being placed behind the grill is incredible.

Agreed on the installation. I have a great installer that has done 5 different vehicles for me in the past with the Escort system. I've been happy with the Escort system, mostly because it is one system and easy to use. I'm looking for a bit more customization on this vehicle both inside and out. I really don't want to drill holes in the bumper for laser jammers, ect.

I used Radenso in my Hellcat with good results. Any Lidar detector is basically a ticket notifier. Once they hit you you're done. IMHO only ALP is of any use and if you don't have proper head placement as you mentioned its a false sense of security. If you look into ALP and Netradar you can utilize Radenso. Remember, they're parking sensors and you can change the mode as required.
There are users on that forum that do testing for installations. I recommend you test the installation and look over that forum for head placement recommendations. They may have already tested a 911 or a GT3 you can model after.
