Smile wru's GT3Touring - PPF/Audio/Radar-Laser/Ceramic tint and coating

We do our fair share of GT3s here at GP...sometimes, it seems that's all we do. 1st-world problems, right

Here's another Touring project we completed and a lot of different boxes were checked. From usual Ceramic, PPF, tint, to audio, radar/laser interception which we're excited to collaborate with Musicar. We also did some custom leather work with Exclusive Options and finally some quality vinyl accents from our friends in UK, Highgate House. AS most of you know, we're a low-volume operation focused exclusively on quality and value, and our p[partners share that same philosophy, making for a win-win for everyone involved.
Grab some pop corn folks, and enjoy the journey

Client sent his new Touring to us from Texas, site unseen. She arrived safe and sound to the asylum:

We then began with the audio portion:

Factory amp removed

New Italian amp with DSP

New processor allows for PCM/new amp integration seamlessly without any modification to factory connections

Before sound dampening

After sound dampening. Crucial step as there is far more energy now being exerted into door space. We upgrade the outer door skin from inside, middle door panel pictured below, and actual door panel that you see inside car. Quite labor intensive, but allows us for the foundation of superior sound

Factory vs Stage 3 audio upgrade

Tweeter upgrade on right has a silk-dome tweeter giving a more soothing sound than the harsh metallic OEM tweeter

Mids

Driver...upgraded from 8" factory diameter to 9" without any modifications

True plug-and-play connections for seamless integration and serviceability

All our wiring is ran along factory wires for a clean OEM look. Behind the scenes are just as important as what our client sees, and hears

Client opted to upgrade to the new Stage 3+ incorporating dedicated subwoofer for full bass extension. First of its kind by Musicar for this application

Door panel installed, Bose logo removed, and custom tweeter grill hand crafted beautifully by Exclusive Option

On to custom ALP/Escort radar/laser integration hand-crafted by Musicar and installed here at GP by our skilled techs

Custom interface for ALP and Escort system

Custom OLED display for Escort system

Front radar receiver

Rear radar receiver

Quick connections for easy service at dealer should bumpers need to be completely removed

Wires follow all factory wiring paths. Notice a trend here

Rear bumper custom installation for ALP laser system

Seamless integration and OEM footprint

Next, paint correction was done to entire vehicle to remove usual paint defects and we began PPF/Clear bra installation on entire 911

New vinyl from HighgatHouse. We find the patterns to be of the highest precision and quality

Client was kind enough to allow us to display his GT3 Touring at our annual PCA Concours. Both his cars were a huge hit and got a lot of attention

Final results and she's transported safely back home courtesy of Plycar

Wheels/calipers ceramic coated which brings out the brilliance of the silver and makes maintaining easier

If you made it this far, thank you and I hope you enjoyed this project. As you can tell, we love what we do and enjoy clients allowing us to make their life, and their experience, a little more special.

Look forward to seeing your responses and let me know what you think.

If you'd like to make an appointment for your car, and see projects in person, please send me PM

Great recap on the project, it's always a pleasure working with you, Moe! We're happy to have a quality-focused resource in SoCal we can trust!

This GT3 Touring is a work of art on wheels — I can only hope the audio and radar retrofits we designed are a complement to this gorgeous platform.

Of course, thank you to Ray for the opportunity!

Moe is the best of the best! I had the same stereo and laser/radar installations on my Touring and it takes what is already a perfect "10" car to an "11." Thanks Moe!

Moe is the best in the business! I had the exact same stereo/laser/radar modifications installed by Moe on my Touring and the modifications make an already epic driving experience several degrees more epic.

Nice work. I have nearly the same audio setup in my C2, and it's incredible. The owner is going to love it.
