OP, from a fellow M guy to another - this deal looks solid, I wouldn't look back.

Especially if you're tracking it - no need to overpay for buckets and PCCB since this isn't a C&C mobile
1. Get Girodiscs or the AP kit
2. Throw some recaros and a rollbar
3. Enjoy nearly 5 years left on that engine warranty and beat the snot out of it
itr - like Integra Type R? That is another dream of mine too.
itrsteve - many thanks. I will most likely trailer 911 to the track with my F86 M, so recaros will be good indeed.

What are you getting for the M, The next few months may not be prime to sell your M outright, so a dealer purchase may be much easier if that is part of the financial component of the budget.

Wouldn't be able to continue living with myself if I had that garbage steering wheel in a GTS

Agreed.

Also, Carfax says five owners. That may not mean anything but certainly something to consider.

Did the car spend time in Colorado Springs? It may be the one that was a dealer loaner if that matters.

I will be trading in my '15 M3 which I have since late '14 with 22k on the clock now. While I enjoy M3 for what it is tremendously, I think I am ready to move into try something else and possibly get my dream car. I wanted to get '18 GTS but since this CPO '15 is well within the budget, I think it might be the one.

Any suggestions or comments will be much appreciated.
Either one is a great choice! I test drove a bunch of cars at my local dealer, .1 GTS and a range of .2’s. I really wanted a .2 GT3 but I need the rear seat for my kid. The .1 GTS sounded amazing compared to the .2 but that turbo torque won me over plus I got to option my car.

So I ordered a 2019 GTS and absolutely love it i don’t think you would be disappointed. I made a few tweaks to mine to get it to my liking, Cup 2s, some suspension mod’s and sorted the sound. High flow cat’s (as well as headers on mine) really open up the sound in the .2 turbos. It might even be borderline too loud but only with sports exhaust. If you want to go further then you can turn it into a monster with a flash. I haven’t but follow the threads and there are some serious quick GTS’s lurking.

I have the 911 bug and currently pondering how I can swing adding a NA GT car.. seeing as I have the “family car” GTS.

I am sure .2 GTS’s will have taken a bigger dip in price so you probably can pick up a good buy compared to the GT3.

Good luck

GTS or a GT3?? Really ??? - GT3 all day long but I would wait a couple months and jump in to a .2 GT3.

I think you should be able to get in to a low mileage .2 around $140,000 and who knows- may be slightly less for a higher mileage one.

Forget about a GTS, GT3 is the way to go
991.1 GT3 max 100K, in a couple of months (weeks ?) they will all be at that pricepoint
991.2 GT3 will be 120K...

You got it, it was my first love and have had three of them and should have kept each one, but who knew they would spike through the roof.

When I’m in my .1 driving down the highway and can’t hear myself think or when you hear pebbles continuously ping the under carriage, it reminds me of those long trips to the track in an ITR.

Either way, if you’re an NA guy then you at least need to own one GT3 in your lifetime.

I think it’s over priced too.
Dealerships are trying to get cars off lots right now and for good reason. Go offer around $100k and if they say no, wait two weeks. I bet they’ll call you.

And like many have said, the .2GT3 depreciation will follow. There’s a white, manual, .2GT3 on auto trader right now for $129k. Higher mileage tho, 20k

If you get a GTS, every time you see and hear a gt3 you’ll be regretting it. Just my 2¢

I got my .1 gt3 for less than 100k, bargain of the century in my opinion. Forget the sterile gts and get the gt3.

Agree price is too high for those miles. Nothing wrong with miles in and of themselves but it needs a lower price.

A 991 GT3 under $100k is the best sports car value on earth. Then they throw in a warranty for another 4-6 years on top of that. It's really insane if you think about it.

Doug, thank you.
I haven't gotten a offer for my M yet. When my workload lighten up a bit next week, I may drop by a local Carmax to see what I can get for it ~ low to mid 30s?
My thoughts on trading in M3 were for a following reasons:
1. Sale tax deduction
2. Can't fit another car into our 3 cars garage. - I would have love to keep this low options M around for as long as I can.

Cheers,

If you were to sell it today, I am sure you can get pretty much of what you have paid for it. Great job sir!
