Default GT3 side skirts- where to buy

Hello forum, I sincerely hope all are well!

I just bought a GT3 Touring and I want to go to matte black or "default" black side skirts. I feel like that's all that is missing on this car. Where can I buy them? Is it going to be more economical for me to have the current ones painted?

Please weigh in with your thoughts and opinions. Thank you!

Jim

Assume you car came with painted side skirts?

Either way best place to get them is a dealer or order online, they are relatively inexpensive and certainly cheaper than having your current ones painted. The GT3 RS side skirts are $400ish for the pair so likely less for the GT3. Probably better to have them in matte plastic anyways as they are less likely to show rock chips if you don't have PPF on them.

Any side skirt you buy will likely need to be painted...whether it’s black or body color. The “default” ones are painted at the factory....

Why not just wrap them?

The standard ones are actually matte black plastic and do not require paint.

A little late because I have already ordered the GT3 versions from Sunset, but are the RS versions plug and play?

It was plug and play on my GT3. Took about 45min for the first side, and less then 10min for the other side once I figured out how they go on and off.

I tried to place a big order with you, including the side skirts, the shipping was obscene on my order (over $200) and with tax you were hundreds of dollars more then Sunset. So I went with Sunset.

We have a note at checkout clearly stating that the shipping charges have been over-inflating lately and to shoot us a message if you think this is occurring. We'd certainly take a look and confirm, and would remove the shipping charges when applicable. The shipping calculator isn't always perfect, and it sounds as though your order was getting freight class charges added likely due to the size (these are large items), but a quick note to us when you see this happening usually solves it. Regardless, g'luck with your build.
