Too late to upgrade to a .2 RS?
I have just been offered a .2 RS in my total dream spec. Should I trade in my .2 GT3 and the 981 GT4 and get into the RS?
I am finding that I'm not having/taking the time to drive the GT4 much these days, though it's a difficult car to part with.
What would you do - get into the .2 RS, stick around for a 992 GT3, or stay put?

I have a GT3T and a GT4.
Although 991.2 RS is a very nice car, I would not trade in a GT3 and a GT4 for an RS. I am not sure if you meant GT3 and a GT4 would actually same worth as a RS or not.
Others might think differently, but I dont think the difference is not worth two cars.

Sit tight, you have two amazing cars, tine is on your side; there will always be RS to get into. Too many model changes intros coming up, I wouldn't make any moves right now

I bet you miss having a stick shift car if you make this move.

Wait and get a car that hasn’t had the front bumper drilled for a plate.....

The only problem with this scenario is giving up a Manual. Obviously, you like a manual. You will wake up in 6 months and wish you had not surrendered a Manual

I have exact color combo. I came from 991.2 chalk manual and have absolutely no regrets. Why; a) best on track, b) more dramatic appearance. c) better torque and sound d) superior front end grip & e) higher up the food chain.

My guess dealer is low balling both cars. Trade GT3 and cash the difference get the GT4 if you like it.

I had a 981 GT4, traded for .2 GT3 6MT, traded for the .2 3RS. I love the RS, but miss those manuals every day. Perfect combo IMHO would be the GT4 and the 3RS.

I test drove an RS on Saturday. Simply amazing, but I lucked out and got what is for me the perfect spec GT3. Exactly how I would build it with a wing. (Still love touring). I came to the conclusion that I would regret trading in my car for an RS. I’d rather keep my car pay it off and in a year or two consider looking for a used RS IF and it’s a big IF I took tracking more seriously and had time to do so. For a street car RS is not for me. I enjoy my manual way too much.
You could feel it was a bit more raw. Even from start up. I felt right away that had to do with the side and rear windows being of lighter weight material. The PDK was amazing. I had it in sport mode the entire time but personally I was bored after 30 min. the grip was also noticeable with the wider tires. Again for 95% street use that difference for me isn’t necessary.
If I traded in my GT3 and then wanted another manual in the future. I’d have trouble finding the perfect spec. It would be easier to find an RS with weissach and mags. Color wouldn’t really matter to me because I’d be buying for track.
they’re both amazing cars and we are fortunate to be in this situation. Good luck there’s no bad choice it’s just what personal options you like more than others.
heres a pic of the bat mobile I took out.

If you’re going to consolidate into one car, I’d go for 992 GT3 with Manual. Will be a pretty good replacement for GT4 and RS. Get the pleasure of Manual and similar track performance as RS with new warranty and possibility for Euro Delivery.

I find myself in a similar dilemma, albeit with lower priced cars. I have a .1 GT3 and an E46 M3 manual that's setup for street/track. Having two cars with buckets is hugely impractical, but I've had the M3 for 12 years and I'm afraid of not having a manual car might irk me (as much as I love the PDK in the GT3).
I toy with the idea of going .1 RS or .2, but that would be my only car aside from borrowing the wife's car (I don't have a commute). First world problems for sure...
