Took delivery of a brand new .2 GT3 RS. While I was inspecting the car, I noticed that the two bolts under the frunk connecting to the hydraulic struts are loose. However, all the body panel codes match. Would you be alarmed in this case, and what do you think has caused this?
I’ve noticed that for 991s, sometimes the bolt underneath the rear light connecting it to the bumper can even be unscrewed using your hand, and I wonder if it’s the same case here for my front hood?
I'm not sure if there is much you can say to get this message back to Porsche. It does, however, speak volumes about your attention to details and your concern for the safety of you, your family and your car. It is a lesson to all of us to inspect all details of our cars continuously; not just a toy to admire and polish. Probably more so after a service. Technicians do have bad days too and I'm sure they don't miss details on purpose.
Good catch! Keep looking and enjoy your GT3 in good health.

Paint should be problem free, and frunk code matches with all other panels.
Copy that, probably nothing but I would still ck it with a meter. I inspect for collections and you would be surprised how many new cars have been repaired/repainted prior to retail delivery. 2 of the last 6 for me, one roof and one hood. Nicely done, but def repainted with paper tags still intact (the hood bolts were also loose on the one), depending on various state law they don't even have to disclose.

Some WP cars were delivered with a non-WP carbon fiber hood, and Porsche shipped the proper (and much lighter) carbon hood to owners via their purchase dealership. These cars got their WP hoods installed at the dealerships.
Same thing went with the WP steering wheel, but the shipped part was Black Plastic.
