i has decided to not pursue this car regardless but I can see valid points on both sides. Without a huge discount vs market for the currency or some other reason the risk doesn’t seem to fit the rewards of owing the car.

If you want a lower entry price on a given car, u can find them in Canadian spec cars. If/when u sell, expect the same discount. If u get a great discount and like the car, go for it. Just expect the same ding when you get out and maybe a little more time/patience.

So what do u consider a Canadian car? Where its at geographically, bought, sold, or manufactured? My question is whether or not u, like a lot of ppl, don't realize a lot of mfgs build certain models in diff countries, GM is a pretty good example.. most of their truck's are built in Canada then sold in US as a US titled vehicle, the ones first sold in Canada and then imported to US are then considered "gray market" or whatever. Same exact truck built at the same exact plant only real diff as mentioned is how how units r measured on the instrument cluster like the speedo, oil pressure,mileage,etc..Like seriously dude.. c'mon

If the car was originally sold in Canada brand new, but now its in the US and a Porsche dealer is selling it with CPO, would there be anything to worry about?

The cars are the same, but that "PCL" is what people don't like to see. I didn't buy a Canadian car for that reason. Resale will be an issue, so unless it's at a discount you can't ignore, I'd avoid it. My two cents YMMV.

PCNA is Porsche Cars North America.
Now, technically they are two separate companies for accounting purposes, but PCC employees are also technically employed by PCNA.
Think of it like PCL is a division of PCNA.
