If you're not sure look for a shop in your area to go and talk with them and view the product, or if no one in your area call Clarke at Apexperformance.net. (I'm not affiliated just a customer)
Not so, the Hybrid S is fully compatible with Schroth six point as is the Hybrid sport - the advantage of the Hybrid S is it can be used with a 3 point as well. If you don't have a halo seat the Simpson system covers front back and side to side head movement - much safer and much more comfortable too (Schroth six point profi 2 x 2 for optimal fit and quick load). In fact my co-driver uses the Hybrid S in carbon fibre - light and comfortable. Even if you have a halo seat, the Simpson system gives you an extra layer of protection whilst giving you some lateral movement which gives improved visibility.

Another point to note is the Simpson system aligns better in the seat (and the seat angle largely doesn't matter) - the secret is not to have the Simpson harness done up to tightly, its meant to be slightly lose, thus when you sit back into the seat it moves to the correct position. You don't even need to look to seat the harness shoulder straps most of the time. The primary reason people go for HANS is cost, in fact about half the price like for like. The other reason is HANS was the original FIA recommended product (Simpson is now FIA accredited, there were lots of shenanigans here ).
