Otherwise, if it's a 2019 and technically a new car, you'll be paying upwards of MSRP or damn near. The real question is: Will you go back to a C8??

Certainly didn't mean to derail the OPs thread with the paint comments LOL. Given the number of folks here that cover their cars with PPF and have them ceramic coated it naturally implies that paint condition may be important. So am interested in the OPs thoughts. Begs the question I suppose for some here that would buy a pre-owned GT car...where on the list of importance is the paint condition? When I was shopping for a GT car, I recall some salesmen being very upfront with the paint condition question and others evasive. Typically the track focused cars I cam across with no PPF were priced accordingly compared to vehicles with the same MSRP and miles that had PPF and very limited exposure on the hips, windshield and front end.

Oil doesn't need to be changed... Oil doesn't age by calendar, but by miles and heat cycles. A change wouldn't hurt anything, but definitely would be overkill...

Test brakes with a test drive too
I bought a car that sat for a long time in a parking ( handbrakes on mostlikely) and had to have the rear disks changed
