Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I've observed a few comments on interior cabin noise being possibly quieter on 2019s vs. 2018s (don't want to start any rumors), but curious if that's substantiated or just anecdotal and realistically very difficult to prove since everyone's interpretation of "too loud" or "too quiet" is subjective.
Any thoughts on this or someone who may has owned multiple Tourings and in different model years?

My Audi S4 has an OEM fake audio track of the exhaust note that it plays through the sound system just to compensate for the wimpy OEM engine sound.
Are you saying that you want to go the other way and decrease the sound in the cabin?
Some manufacturers would be lucky to have that problem...
