Default GT3 touring 2018 vs 2019

Does anybody know if there are any differences between the two? Namely interested in any changes in air box/intake and sound. Thank you

Delivery cost and a couple options were more expensive in 2019. Otherwise no changes.

2019 has 1 more hp. 2 additional pound feet of torque. However there is more sound insulation and hence weight so the performance is the same.

the springs are stiffer in the 2019 so that makes the ride much more harsh. However - the seats have extra padding so again- net result is no difference in the ride of the cars.

Like Mr. Miaygi says in the Karate Kid: "Different but same....Same but Different."

Do you mind sharing your source on this? Porsche originally planned to make only 2018 GT3 cars through the end of the 2018 calendar year, but then decided to fulfill the remaining GT3 demand with cars produced in the first 3 calendar months of 2019. I did not think there was any mechanical difference between the two model years.

If otherwise, I would like to know and please share your sources of the information.

I wonder if it's more of an American inability to understand sarcasm, or if it's a specific Rennlist forum issue?.. but it's a real problem (sarcasm alert again). Do we need a certified emoji or symbol every time someone posts something obviously humorous? Maybe the face?

How about a "fake news" emoji?

Biggest difference - for the 2019 it will take you a full extra year to register her as a Historic car 25 yrs from now (State dependent)

Well, I thought I was pretty clear in trying to make sure that it was clearly understood that I was being facetious but then again, people actually thought I was trying to buy a car and plan for one in 2030.

I’m sure it’s just a problem with everyone outside of the Bay Area who isn’t from Italy. Oh shoot. That sarcasm stuff and us Americans. Oopsy.
