Looks like a track driver, plus there's numbers on the door. HPDE helps teach good situational awareness. Another plus for going to the track!!

Yeah, I think calling this thread “Lucky GT3“ is not giving the driver enough credit. Should be called “Sharp Driver”

Sharp driver? Why did he veer over to the left to begin with? Guy filming seems like he was the sharp driver - safe distance and stayed in his lane. I agree that was a good "save" but question why the guy moved over to begin with.

Fair enough, maybe it wasn't a panic stop on his part, but is it safe to say he didn't check his side view before he made the move over to check out the incident? I didn't see any of the other cars in that line diving back in to avoid that crazy truck driver.

Yeah, I agree. Nice save for sure, but there didn't seem to be a reason to move to the left like that.
