GT2 RS Market

I would reverse the question - why do you want to trade both in on a GT2 RS - is it a question of a different itch to scratch or timing or both?
I'm quite interested in the answer to this question - I think Porsche basically gave enthusiasts two great choices in the 2RS and the II GT3 RS.
Currently, there is a GT2 RS sitting unsold at my local dealers - what does unsold really mean, it means there are three buyers circling (again a customer ordered car that "fell through"). Doesn't look like they are cutting any special deals.
In my market there are only 4 2RS on the used market all of which are priced above MSRP (all appear to have been driven e.g. 5,000km).
My read on the current RS market (not that I dwell on this) is the GT2 RS knocked it out of the park and the changes to the II GT3 RS resulted in another GT car knocked out of the park (I felt the .1 RS was incomplete, a work in progress the finished product being the .2 RS) and then a big wait for the next versions.
One comment I would make is - some of the WP versions of the 2RS and II 3RS I have seen are stunning and if you appreciate aesthetics and engineering these variant may do well longer term relative vanilla GT3s for example (I don't think any of these cars are investments and I don't personally treat them that way).

No - although the GT2 RS is a special car, the reality is the 991 II GT3 RS is special in the NA world and the 18 manual GT3 is a lovely useable GT car.

Think pending location/dealer. Before I got the MAC a dealership in the NE offered me MSRP on 2 he had on the floor. Now I do know them, but MSRP was the deal. I prefer the 3 over the 2 ........honestly for 350k I’d rather have something more exotic. Still love the 2 just not for 350k.

Agree with this post and the others after my last. One thought on WP value is that on trade dealers don’t care how stunning you think the car is. It’s got a preset value based on spec, mileage and condition. As to the 3RS some like WP some don’t. Split is 60% WP cars to 40% non WP.
Not indicative of majority of current asking prices. Most are closing in on MSRP. I got offered a killer spec 2RS with WP and mag wheels for $10k over sticker, about $360k.

Sorry fellas - I guess sarcasm is hard to detect online. Not in the market at all (was just in for service), and I was insulted to read that!

If the “ask” is the measure of the market
I just discovered the 3RS market is going through the roof also.
