@sonorous how are you liking it with the satin clear coat?

I am super happy. The sheen is perfect, very similar to the OEM finish. They are super easy to clean and I did 3 days on track and they still look great. The OEM paint chips quickly on track with Cup 2's throwing debris especially in the rear. On a side note, I had my car in for service at my Indy and they had a 718 there with OEM Aurum wheels. The color difference is noticeable side by side compared to my Spanish Gold being more yellow and the Aurum being more brown. But both are much lighter than my first try with Satin Poly Gold with no clear. My goal was gold wheel that look good on my GR car to me and that mission is accomplished. If anyone is dead set on matching to Aurum I do not think Spanish is the ultimate choice.

edit: while not a perfect side by side, here is a OEM Aurum vs. Spanish Gold in the same light.

@sonorous thanks for your trial and (for you) error in messing with the gold finishes. You've convinced me to go with Spanish Gold over Satin Poly Gold (Aurum) on my black 997

My car is slate gray. I found what seems to be the same or at least very close to my vehicle as much as I love the looks of the gt3rs totally opposite with the looks of the turbo. What do you think about putting them on the touring in slate gray 6601 greenish hue. Originally car came with satin black wheels and by the time it got to me poof they were silver gloss and on one of the wheels the paint bubbled up about 10mm bubble.

Poof it’s done😊.
Shout out to Colorwerks in Denver. They did an excellent job fast and really inexpensive. Very detailed and the finish is so flat I can’t even complain 😂.

Got my Signature SV104 wheels back from powder today and mounted when I got home.

Went with the Prismatic Spanish Gold color the same as what @sonorous did. I’m normally a standard silver wheels type of guy, but I’m digging this color!

Thanks again to everyone on this thread.

If you have done anything similar with Prismatic Powder and have a lead on a close color, I would appreciate your insights. I will do my best to share what I learn along the way, so that others may go this route if desired. Many thanks!
what shop did you use in Miami. Thanks for the info.
