Shout out to Colorwerks in Denver. They did an excellent job fast and really inexpensive. Very detailed and the finish is so flat I can’t even complain 😂.
Looks amazing - hope to see it around town.

I'm having a set of wheels done by Colorwerks this month and can't wait to see how they turn out.

Sorry for the thread revival - I'm going through the whole color selection process for my wheels - decided I wanted Aurum so I ordered the center caps, here's a photo of the prismatic swatch for Satin Poly Gold against an OEM center cap:

Has anyone been successful with a closer match, or is this as good as it gets?

This thread has me thinking again.... I am just not a big fan of the green stripe on my wheels,... Thinking of getting rid of it for all black, or going this satin gold.... Hmm. Butler in Atlanta wants $325 per wheel for gold, $275 for black (all in (tires off, back on, balanced etc...)

for more data points. satin poly gold with just a light coating of clear. Very happy, bored with black wheels.

My only suggestion is to try and get a swatch of Walts Gold and test it next to the cap. It is a little lighter and with a little more silver and it might just be a better match than Satin Poly which is a little darker as evidenced by your photo. Prismatic actually has a example of it on a GT3 on their site. https://www.prismaticpowders.com/gal...ls-in-pmb-4053

Which clear is that? I think prismatic recommends fog clear to maintain the same sheen, but curious to see what others used.

I wanted a little more gloss so I just used regular clear from my coater. Just a few light coats.

Thanks for this suggestion! Here's the comparison with the Walt's gold swatch:

I think we have a winner.

(Walts - Left, Satin Poly Gold - Right)

I know its kind of a janky solution and not long term but i didnt care for the red stripe on my ducati wheels so i bought black satin tape specifically made to cover it. unless you were right up on it you didnt notice. Just a thought. For the green stripe that is...

@sddynamix Did you end up getting the Walts Gold done? I'm looking to do my cage in an "Aurum" and would love to see finished pics of your car with the Walts Gold !

Not yet - it's "out of stock" so the lead time will be a few weeks. I'll definitely share photos when it's done!

Sorry to once again revive a thread. Looking to do this to my wheels on my 955 Cayenne Build - Does anyone have any updated photos of Walt's Gold finished? It seems it may be a winner but now I am all confused on which I like better from all of these gorgeous pictures. For references, here is what I am trying to accomplish with the very same wheels - stolen from another member in my facebook group and Tiele.com. The wheels shown in both pictures below were ordered from Tiele.com - which is displayed in the last picture. So despite the lighting & filters these are all the same wheels.

This angle/lighting/filter looks more yellow but they are the same wheels from both other pictures.

I have a set of 991.2 3RS wheels in Aurum Gold from the factory and would consider trading with someone with black wheels. Lizard green striping would be a plus.
