Aurum Gold Rims - Prismatic Powder Color?

Satin Poly Gold with Clear Vision
Just dropped off car at Wheel Repair Performance in San Jose, California to have this done
my OEM was Platinum Silk
then after usual minor curb rash/ wear and tear got repainted with a darker glossy Agate Grey color
after I saw the new 992 Porsche web configurator with the Aurum Gold
i realized all the new 992 are going to have these gold wheels coming in October and November 2019!
was originally thinking going darker like Metallic Jet Black
but this Gold looks way better
will contrast really well with my Rhodium silver and Carrera red interior
also getting two two coats of Ceramic Pro on top
thats what I luv about Porsche’s
they are so conservative with their styling that you can back date and forward date them just like Volkswagen Beetles!
my car also sounds great because it is naturally aspirated
it has the LED headlights of the 991.2
and will have the Gold wheels of the 992
it is six years old but still will look awesome!

Folks ..Im having some doubts about my Pearl Gold choice over Satin Poly Gold after i noticed its Chmelion effect... ( pic in my previous post above)
The whole idea was going lighter than the Aurum gold ..... but looking at the swatches in the shade and darker places since, it seems that in most conditions other than direct bright light, Pearl Gold can actually appear darker than Poly Gold/Aurum and even somewhat grey charcolish ...
So i went to a tire/wheel shop and picked up a scraped BMW silver aloy wheel for 40 dollars ( nice clean surface though) and will have my powder coat person run test coatings on it, rather than commit the RS wheels right off the bat.
I’ll get a much better idea of color and its effects than i can through the swatches .. and can also run a few different colors tests, if needed, before going to RS wheels.
The Powder guy said he will charge me 150 dollars per test for base and topcoat labor.. ill provide sample powder from prasmatic.
To me it is worth it... more peace of mind this way.
I’ll share some pics of the test next couple days.
(My cars 2nd Thermostat issue just got extended into next week.. it will be 2 weeks in the shop if they can get it ready by next week....
And i know this is not a one off-ish issue for Gt3 and RS .. it is prevalent and has been since 2015 at the least.. yet here we are....2nd thermostat and a wait for parts while car is out of service at the dealer. imo..just not right!..... But hey it turned out to be a blessing in disguise in some way... it allowed me to contemplate more on the wheel color and go the route of doing tests before committing )

Wheels done!
Looks amazing!
center caps off a little bit I don’t mind
had to color match as best as possible because they are plastic and can’t be powder coated
totally changes character of car and makes it look super exciting and not a “boring old Porsche”

Update on my Pearl Gold test on the scrap wheel.
Terrible .... dead/lifeless... i was so disappointed i even forgot to take a pic....
I asked my powder guy to strip the test wheel and get it ready for Satin Poly Gold test next week, when i receive my order from prismatic.
I will report on my ‘in person’ take on the satin poly gold after the test.
Cheers

Asking for your opinions
Should i or shouldn't i go gold?
The gold is quick and dirty edit on my iPad and Affinity photo.. ( just dont zoom in to much )
