Thank you all for the kind words. Here she is in Moe's shop, waiting to get dismantled for the full body wrap. Along with the spray nozzles and antenna wart, I've decided to have the black part of the side view mirrors painted light ivory. It's a hard color for me to describe. It is filthy in all of these pictures. It's pretty stunning in the flesh. It's definitely not white. No decals or stripes for me, in case you were wondering.

Beautiful car, congrats! How close is this to the Geyser Grey of the 50th anniversary 991?

Needsdecaf - Thanks! Funny you should ask. When I was at Porsche DTLA last Thursday, they had a 911-50 out front. For a second, I thought it was my car. I have attached two geyser grey 911-50s with my light ivory in-between. The geyser grey is darker and definitely has "grey" compared to the light ivory which is more off-white and has no grey undertones.

When I ordered my 2006 cab s I pleaded with PCNA for light Ivory to match my 356....no dice...went with sand white the closest at the time. I wonder when they opened light ivory? Its a Porsche heritage color no doubt.

Boy. That light ivory is a great color. You're going to have to crank out a few TKRs to pay Moe for his magic. Can't wait to see when it is done.
