Default Approved Oils for 2019?

Forgive me if this has been posted before, but does anyone have the approved oils list for 2019 (or 2018 for that matter)?

I'm preparing to do the first oil change on my 2019 GT3 RS and wanted to put in Motul. I've used 8100 X-Clean 5W-40 in the past on my GT3's, but I wanted to make sure it was 1) still good or 2) if there's anything better out there.

Thanks!

I haven’t seen a list newer than 2015. The one above was on the list, but the Motul rep who posts here said he preferred X-Cess in same weight. The 300V is supposedly even better, but not A40 certified.

I've used 8100 X-Clean 5W-40 in past cars. I switched to Mobil 1 5w-50 and will use it in my current 991.2 GT3.

I used 7 Liters in my last change (7.4 Quarts). Some oil comes in Liter size and some in Quarts. I'd buy 8 if Quarts (and maybe in Liters too - better to end up with extra than not enough).

The 4.0 motor is dry sump and it really only has a 7.5 qt. Capacity.

7.5 quarts is all that drains.

what? same as vw 502 spec? that's not low saps oil and you will get carbon buildup like a ****

I always wondered what oil gt3 takes but that spec is meh

in europe vw 504/507 is standard, VAG uses Castrol longlife 3 from tdis to the r8, exact same bottle and no carbon buildup cause it's low saps

recently I took pics of a golf r engine USA vs Europe, in America they still use old *** oil compared to Europe

The X-clean while being a very good high performing product, the X-cess will consistently show slightly better wear numbers. If you prefer a 0W40, we do have the Porsche A40 approved 0W40, the 8100 X-max 0W40, also a full SAPS product like the X-cess.

Most up to date approval letter (sorry for the size) on the X-cess- good through August 2020:
Thank you!

Porsche spec is A40 for approved motor oils...that’s what you go by. I’m not sure what you’re exactly talking about with me.
