Back in a 991.1 GT3

Did you drive your GT4 with and without its PCCBs in similar driving conditions close enough in time to one another to compare well? What differences did you notice if any regarding handling? I’m not asking about braking performance, but rather whether you felt the car handled / felt differently driving it aggressively on roads like we do at Smokies GT, presumably due to the weight differences. I would think your impressions with the stock PCCBs v the GiroDisc conversion would be amplified by the larger size of the steel rotors than stock steel brakes.

Congrats on the new purchase Alan! The GT3 looks amazing. Can’t wait to see the new Forgeline wheels on this beast. They are going to look killer!

Lapis - I can't really tell the difference between the PCCBs and Girodiscs. My guess is a pro might be able to feel it.
Chris - That was the first thing I noticed when I looked at the build sheet. I would rather have the current wheels than the black ones. Might start looking for a set of black ones to have when I trade this one.
The Spring event is going to be fun.

Hi Alan, very nice car. Did you end up doing the Girodisc conversion on the GT3? Have any experience with it since it's been some time (I assume you still have this GT3?)
Thank you,
Tom Grady
