GT3RS stuck at USA Port till April

Current owners should urgently be receiving notifications from the dealer or the factory if it is a quality issue; especially if there is a chance of the engine catching fire. Obviously current cars on the roads are more of a liability than a car that is not delivered yet. I have not received anything or any bulletin warning of any problems about my car. Got delivery of mine (3RS) in early Nov.

Any way we can get insight into whether this affects builds that predate ones in transit? Im scheduled for an oil change next week and don’t want them to hold it for some recall equivalent reason -_-

Keep one thing in mind, guys. No matter what Porsche have proved they make things right. Never a question about that.

This does not present as a sales manipulation. This would not make sense, since cars are delivered in country and held with valid sales orders. This is likely a QC or recall issue - strange is that one would expect that PAG would have learned its better to get ahead of this sort of issue. Time will tell.

Got a call from my dealer today that I should be able to pick my .2RS before the end of this month. I don't think there is any issue with Canadian deliveries.
Expected date for delivery was January 11,2019.

Particulate filter.
Yes, I know, NA is not supposed to be getting the filter. But never underestimate production line consistency and homogeneity.
