If my car was delayed at port I would ask to see the engine hours.
What do you mean by "see the engine hours"?

Thanks!

You sure about those dates? That would probably be a world record of 22 days from V300 to US port entry.

The DME report that most people would look at for over-revs shows the total engine running hours for the life of the car. This would tell me if the engine was running for an extended time based on the miles on the car.

Got it... Do you have something to benchmark those numbers against?

Ok end of the usual GT4 fantasy
Sorry if this is generally known but I don't follow the GT4. Has it been confirmed that the next GT4 will get the 4.0 9A1.5 or is that just part of your fantasy?

I have sent him an email daily with an answer "I still don't know and you will be the first one I call". Where did you hear that they are checking each car to see if has an oil leak etc and what fitting. My car is a GT3 Touring. Any information is much appreciated as this is frustrating to say the least.

True reason has not yet been released. Only speculations: oil leak check, emissions check, whatever else...

I also spoke to the GM from my dealership. His answer was VW/Audi/Porsche are under microscope since diesel scandal and these checks happen now often.

We have 2 cars (a Jag and an RS) on the Morning Composer - it's was denied entry to Australian ports due to a bug infestation! After sitting offshore for 3 weeks it has now been diverted to Indonesia for fumigation. Was originally meant to take delivery today, but now looking like the end of Jan.

Was your car released before it docked? Who did you check with to see if had cleared? The dealer is the on wi told me about the Hold. When I called PCNA they acted like they did not know what I was talking about.

My SA just texted me an update. My car was V300 a couple weeks ago. It said delivery to dealer at that point was 2/15. Then last week it moved to 3/8. Today it moved back to 2/22. So who knows! haha. At least this week was better news than last week! My friends entered the port in Houston today and looks like it is released and leaving there on the 21st. So good news today!

Maybe I just spoke to the wrong guy at PCNA. He did not say there was a hold but said it was due into the port 1/11-1/18 which can not be true because the Ship it is on will be in Port this week.
