Easily fixed .. and in keeping with the Ocker theme have a squiz at this
.. think it will only cost you a pineapple and quiet on the outside so you wouldn't spook the pensioners at the Narrabeen RSL after they lost their dole check on the pokies.

Mind sending me some info as well? I am interested in tuning both my AMG GTR and Mclaren. I assume you tuned the Mclaren since you referenced needing to remove body parts to gain access to the ECU (they are in the rear wheel wells for some reason). Did you do any before and after dynos? Thanks
mclaren and gtr , now they are very different cars . What are you preferring to drive at the moment ?

To each their own. Glad you found a car that makes you happy. I agree that the GT3 lacks some low end torque and wish it had more, but it is still my favorite car on the market. I didn't like the AMG GT because of the seating position and really long hood. It completely takes away from the driving experience for me.
I think the GT/GT-R long / low slung hood will not age well. In my view, and in the view of most of the local Ferrari guys (yes, they are also biased), it already looks dated and somewhat kitschy. The .2 GT3 obviously draws from more classic 911 lines that have aged well and will likely to continue to age well.
I also have to say that if you had ordered a PDK .2 GT3 you might have felt a bit differently. The manuals are awesome and give a superior/connected feel to the road. That said, the ability to hammer through lightning fast gear changes on full throttle all the way to 9k is just spectacular. You really don't fret much over "lost torque" when owning and driving the hell out of a PDK. You simply don't have time to notice it. The car just performs brilliantly.
Glad you are enjoying your new car. To each their own and good luck.

The gt3 is such a great riding car that I could drive as a daily, which is a testament to what spectacular performance Porsche can extract.
that being said I daily a M6gc with a Dinan Stage 2 kit coming close 700hp and a **** ton of torque. So I get the best of both worlds. If it was me I would have looked into a beefy v8tt DD, like an amg Benz.

Glad you are happy with the GT-R.
Top Gear seems to like the engine a bit.
