hi, just got a 18 gt3 with the CF bucket seat....great seat but track but for driving to vegas...the seat angle is too steep....
has any one looked into changing the length of the front seat bracket bar so that the seat can lean back about 15Deg back ? If not, would anyone be interested , if I design and fabricate the bar so that the seat can be made to lean back a bit.... it really wouldn't change the driving dynamic that much but would make non-track driving a lot more comfortable....
any thoughts ?!?

There are several options available. Here is what I have on mine, works very well:

I went with Tracspec. I didn't like the variable side of the Autoquest solution.

I have the Autoquest adjusters in two of my cars. The Autoquest solution changes the geometry of the mechanism due to the longer arm at the front of the seat. The higher the seat, it translates to less angle. The lower the seat, the angle increases (meaning leans further back).
The other solution keeps the arm length the same, but just moves the pivot point higher.
I will likely try the other solution which just raises the front pivot point on my next car.

i’d be interested in your even though there are others out there.
well....I see the 2 diff design differences....
I'll take a look n see if there's any better approach but... I may just try the tracspec ones myself first too....
