It is ironic: You can see the bridge from where the car was stolen.
They drove it north after they stole it, then for some strange reason drives the car back to go south of where it was stolen. In clear sun light with original plates. Weird...

These guys don't sound like pros...they sound like amateurs that had the ***** to walk into somebody's house at night...Good news! They will be caught soon! We have to think positive!

So sad hope they catch the punks. Question, do you think it’s someone who knows you? I ask because they broke in your house and knew where to get the keys? Had a similar happen in a neighbor hood I know well, and did the same took the keys from the house ....ended up being someone who knew the family and where the keys were.

You need a 'Jack Bauer' type super spy to help. Can you imagine how fast and easy it would be if your local cops had immediate access to traffic cam and especially satellite info?

fingers crossed for you, and hopefully it will be recovered today so you can drive it some more this weekend.
u guys know me well.
I get lost EASILY, I have a map just to go from my bedroom to my bathroom (in the bedroom). no, it's not big, just 400sf.
I would have gone north and then south then totally lost and ran out of fuel (it has happened to me MANY times)...
once it took me 20 min to get out of a parking lot bc I cannot for the life of me find the exit.
I am glad Kobalt has some humor during this fiasco. I would have bought a load of automatic weapon and hired a bunch of ex black op guys ready to hunt the dude down and I will have my industrial strength VITAMIX ready... we can all enjoy "Bloody Mary" this weekend.

I think they were amateurs. I think they broke into the house not for the car. They saw the keys and probably said lets take the Porsche. If this was a professional thief I don't think they would driving it around.

Much simpler option is to put a GPS tracker on your car or Lojack. When they jacked my neighbor's Merc about 10 years ago, he saw them driving away, activated Lojack and they dumped the car about 2 miles away and got in their chase car. He had the car back in under 30 minutes. He figures they could tell the car was emitting a signal.
