Instructor student comm system
I have had it with my chatterbox instructor student comm system. I want a easy to use, bluetooth communicator that works and is reliable. What are you guys using, any recommendations are welcome.

The only system I use now. Trac-Com Communicators. https://www.discoveryparts.com/584__...communications
Use it with my Stilo helmet with the adaptor for the helmet. Sound is in both ears and the Stilo microphone works perfectly with this setup. Students complaints with not being able to hear what you are saying are no longer a concern. Separate volume controls makes it possible to adjust for each person which helps. Thing is tough as nails compared to a Chatterbox and runs off a 9V battery that lasts forever

Thank You Seth I will look into this. My helmet date will expire soon so maybe it is time to make the change with that also.

I would also look at the ROSSO option from Stable Energies. This too is a wired solution that i use with a Stilo and a headset for the student. The Trac-Com system has the volume on the sides and I have seen this **** come off and is really hard to find in a car. The Rosso system has the ***** on the front so less likely to be pulled off by mistake. Both systems can be hardwired into a car as well. Both systems work equally as well.

Thanks for the input guys I ordered the trac-comm and will give this unit a try. I wish we had the perfect comm system in bluetooth with no wires.

No wires would be nice but I like the simplicity of the TracCom system. The wires are heavy duty enough so they won’t break like the chatterbox. The ease of having adapters so it plugs into different helmets is very helpful so those with race helmets and coms can use those for better communication. You also don’t have to worry about the problem of Bluetooth losing a connection while on track.
