Muffler Delete Question

I have a rear muffler bypass on my 991.2 GT3 and run with the vacuum lines plugged to keep the side muffler valves open.
It sounds great but I was wondering how much louder it would be if side muffler deletes without valves were added?
In other words, is there a big difference in sound between running side mufflers with open valves and running without side mufflers?
I understand the added benefit of weight savings, but I'm more concerned with the noise level, drivability and potential for drone.
Thanks in advance, I would appreciate thoughts and opinions from anyone with first hand experience.

Delete the side paperweights..errr side mufflers and put the OEM center muffler back on....you'll be glad you did.

It's noticably louder than doing the center muffler delete, but it drops a lot of heat and weight. I'll be putting on a SS Dundon quiet center muffler so that'll quiet it down a bit.

1) Single L-pipes, so no valve use, it will be as loud as your stock car with the valves disconnected (the three mufflers are bypassed when valves are open, at 50ft the stock GT3s read 100.x db beyond 7500rpm)
2) the side delete pipes that use valve control (they connect at the upper and lower portion of the center muffler). I had the FabSpeed ones and I like them a lot, but sold the FabSpeed headers, and the valve control pipes needed to go with the headers, as the FabSpeed headers do not have holes for the O2 sensors.
From the above options, #1 for lighter weight, #2 for a little quieter cruising (it is quieter cruising than the stock system with 3 mufflers and valves disconnected)

Thanks for the responses... let me clarify further. I have already purchased and installed an Akrapovic center muffler bypass which I am very happy with and will be keeping on the car.
I'm just asking if anyone knows from experience how much loader removing the side mufflers would make the car vs. retaining the side mufflers with the valves kept open. Thanks!

If you already have a center bypass, deleting the side mufflers will give you a straight exhaust. It will be really loud, think cup car. The side mufflers with the valves turned on does not equal the muffler delete.

agree is LOUD!, I had it on my 997.2 GT3. Also there will be some drone at certain rpms.

Side delete isn't necessarily louder vis-a-vis a center bypass. It just has a deeper growl, a bit more bass, if you will.

I got the quiet Dundon SS center muffler which I'll add to the side muffler delete so I don't **** off my neighbors and get nasty HOA letters about the noise. haha

Thats what I installed on mine. Its loud, but not unbearably so. I think it sounds great, cup-car like. No drone as far as I can tell so far. My goal was less heat and less weight - the great sound was a bonus.
