Finally! I have never been one to be jealous of the Europeans but it always annoyed me seeing them drive windows up while sweating here in soflo. Hopefully Chin, PCA and PBOC wake up soon follow suit. Well done Peter.

I'll be there on Friday, Peter. Couldn't do Thursday due to work commitment. Maybe I should try windows up Friday and hope the corner workers forget.

For those interested in insurance for the day,I received this email from The Open Track Insurance, if anyone doesn’t have track insurance and wants to be covered for our day:

Hey Peter, Hope you're great Sir. So I am not sure if you saw on our new website, but we now also have an on-demand daily policy. It would be perfect for the guys that are going out to the track with you on Sept 6th. It's a single day of coverage vs. having to buy an entire event coverage w/ the others (where you pay the same price whether you track 1 day or 4 days). We would love if you sent a note to everyone letting them know they can now purchase a single day of coverage... they only pay for what they use. BP

I shopped around for insurance and got a better 1day rate from OpenTrack. On 118k they were less by over $200 and I got insurance for track damage too.

Very excited about this day....and THEY....said it couldn’t be done!....I know I asked... Well so having to run windows down...that’s definitely not true....running windows up is safer by all accounts in modern day cars....all manufactures than run track events use windows up. I know I’ve done Porsche and AMG track events at Sebring, Barber and Road Atlanta...with the same corner workers and track safety crew I do DE with. Having your arm off the steering wheel flailing away out the window for a point by is stupid...blinkers make so much more sense....not having debris, tire clag coming through windows will be awesome...plus yes the sheer comfort of AC on will be nice. Know if I’m in an accident with windows up and knowing my side air bags will work as designed and not go flapping out the open window in the way it should be.
Its time for a change with DE’s...and this is the 1st major step!
