actually wish I had the intellect to contribute as much as I learn here ,

some so serious , as I do enjoy some of the levity here and enjoy clever thoughts fellow members post up u no for Moots sake for example

Was wondering what happened. Yes more nanny in some ways but other annoying crap/bickering over values goes on as infinitum. Reminds me of the beginning of the end of Roadfly. Hope we don't follow that path.

In the past there were far more vitriolic threads that were allowed to run their course and die a natural death. Is this a sign of a new nanny PC mentality on Rennlist or is it just that whenever we get a little too close to learning something about the retail network it's shutdown time? I sure hope not because if that's the case it clearly diminishes the value of Rennlist, not to mention undermining the spirit of free speech.
hey if you dont stfu, you will be 1) banned or 2) thread closed.

Wow. I must have missed the controversial SuperQuant thread. Maybe mods could start a new section where folks could read and enjoy all banned/closed threads. This would be subscription only, of course

well thus far into this thread 75% members , guess that keep the lights on for continued banter , maybe a poll with selection of position on thread censoring/closing topic might make a marker for Mod's to respect .

If you'd like a thread re-opened, ping the Mod who closed it. For the most part, they are very reasonable men. Not an easy job, but I hear the pay is good. We have power in numbers, just just need to have the numbers.

The threads they closed were childish. We are just pissed we couldn't add to that before they closed them.

Though I agree the blog has on occasion become overly aggressive in closing threads, in the Superquant thread they were correct to do so. To allow the thread to remain could expose the site to legal liability. They did the right thing and we should not criticize them for it.

I miss the pre 991 RL So much good has gone away in the last few years. But then again I'm a Luddite living in the past.

If the neighborhood declines automatically then one can move away manually. Start a new forum, Manual Only Men, Three Pedal Purity, Not for the Shiftless, Character is in the Clutch, etc.
