The drivers are going all out, theres a few mistakes in the video but the amount of push to the limit is really impressive.
this. Smooth is fast, precise is fast but holy hell, at that level of full attack on that track, there are going to be a few imperfections. A pro like him still didn’t lose much time at those either. Without cage, this driver deserves a lot of respect and credit for this Laptime.

I think he has customised cage. At least behind his seat there is some sort of cage.

Correction. To me it looks like standard Ti cage.

Confusing. Take a look at post #95 and #120. Those are steel.

Both the pictures you’re referring to are marketing/promotional pictures, not actual ones on lap day. Search YouTube videos of the laps, and you’ll see the car lap with PCCBs.

Nice one finding what was used for the lap. I want those tires available when I buy the car. Tires are the best additive for lap time improvements and brakes are next but stock brakes are almost as good as full racing brakes.

Great driving - very interested to see the measured grip levels these new tires generate (as in track measured lateral and longitudinal g) - the car looks very, well driven and very glued down (in the main).
