Nice! I hope you get some time to drive it and report back. I had a 2015 Huracan as well, and found it to be very uninvolving to drive and found the interior to be sub par. I loved the car otherwise. Just from sitting in a Performante, the interior is much better, and although I haven't driven it yet I've heard enough good things about it that it's on my radar as a complement to my GT3. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Yes I had a 2015 Huracan as well. I liked it but agree it wasn’t as involving as a drivers car. I think the Performante should be much better. Only drove it for 20 min yesterday for first time but my initial impressions were wow! Big difference between Performante and regular Huracan. I’ll report back once I get some proper drive time. I have to admit though I really love the Gt3 and consider it to be one of the best drivers cars the world has to offer.

With 458 reliability much improved, I Test drove a 488 recently but found the throttle response in street driving to be surprisingly anemic, even when Manettino was set at "Race", most responsive position.
Turbos seemed to have excessive lag. On boost it was great, but not very often you get into the boost region in traffic. Both my Porsche TTS and AMG have far better Turbo throttle response in traffic.
Have you also noticed that with your 488?

I too have both the Performante and the GT3. Got them both in October 4 days apart from each other. I have had both on the track and i have to say the Performante is a beast on the track. You will love it.

Sold my 575M a few years ago. Gorgeous and Delightful to drive with a V12 Engine and steering to die for, but too many things broke too often. I never left home without my favorite tow service on speed dial.
