On the 991.2 GT3 RS, the lifting system is a newly developt lightweight construction - the old one was pneumatically. The new one that shaves of 50% of the weight is now hydraulically.
In Europe, it is the same price for lifting system as it was on the 991.1 GT3 RS.

The Magnesium wheels is a product from Manthey Racing/BBS that now is offered from Porsche. If someone wants to buy the wheels only, just contact Manthey Racing in Mauspath (near Nürburgring). They have them in silver/black or titanium finish. Price is around 15 000 Euro + VAT.

If they threw out all the nonsense carbon and made the WP just carbon roll bars and mag wheels, for $18k, I think most people would check that box. I would.

If I get an allocation- no WP for me. Im going to just go on a diet and save the weight that way.

I think the base model looks better than the WP. the cosmetic changes the WP offers have no advantage. If I could order the WP wheels without the WP, I would. That’s where all the weight savings are.

you should post more!
for me:
the .2GT3RS looks better with WP.
the GT2RS don´t.
if i would be in US i would spec without WP.
in EU i spec with WP. titan cage is sexy. for all the guys who think about full cage later on - just stay calm and exchange the steel vs. titan cage for free with a nonWP budy.

Heard something today that seems a little bit weird. If you choose WP, you will get the carbon anti-roll bars and their couplings in carbon fibre. These have minimal adjustments to create a complete cornerweight of the car. For me it seems very strange if Porsche will offer it's product with the WP and you can not adjust things like you want.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks Marcus for the info..I'm slightly confused as the photo shows the three holes to adjust the anti-roll bar stiffness which appears to be the same as the standard ones..Any ideas.?

Hi,
Now I'am not an expert of chassie adjustments, but the person I speaked to today said that they loose the anti-roll bars, weight everything with the drivers wight in the seat. Then everything is adjusted and the anti-roll bars is tightened up again. The last adjustment do you do with the drop links. I don't see the difference either and just wonder if it was any truth in this - hopefully not.
Or was it just adjustable drop links my friend mean you have to install to do it correctly - so you have to throw away the carbon fibre drop links anyway?
