Anyone else struggling on this option? I’m back and forth daily. Most people say get it, but I love the way LG looks on the RS without Weissach. I also hate how the all black wing seems to disappear with WP vs the bright colored wing on non-WP car. Unfortunately I have this feeling I will regret NOT getting it when I could have.

Yea, the lighter colors certainly come out better without the pack. I'm not a fan of a full carbon hood and roof, on the 2RS the stripes really create the illusion of the carbon being the stripes and gives the primary color some balance really compliments the ducts and such. On the 3RS the carbon just takes away from the ducts and the wing giving it a more aftermarket look. As such I'm going with all black and Weissach, gives the carbon a bit of a blend but just enough contrast to make it special but not too ostentatious. It looks like the suspension components aren't going to be that expensive to replace so WP for me but I hae contemplated literally every other color with the standard car it just looks the business. If I could have gotten PTS I would have gone with the standard car. Mexico Blue or Ruby star would be epic on this car

So would I be in the minority here if I went LG and WP?

So far, the poll indicates that the majority of the respondents chose no WP. My dealer received five .2 GT3RS allocations. All 5 purchasers chose to include WP in their builds at this one dealership.

Dealer told me , if you plan on keeping the car for years to come get the WP as it will be something sought after , if your only moving up to the 991.2 RS until the next best thing , then its a mood point. I am more curious is anyone doing a track car with Steel vs PCCB ?? with the WP package..............Damn you Porsche with all these stupid options....you would think it gets easier the more GT cars you buy , but its getting to the point where you open the configurator and just tick ever damn box and don't second guess with all this should I or shouldn't I...............BTW not getting the WP , I don't like the black hood , don't mind the roof and wing

I changed my build from WP to non after seeing the car at the New York show. For some reason I don't mind it at all on the GT2 RS but the GT3 version doesn't look as good in person to me.

I'm doing Track build with WP and PCCBs going to switch to Surface Transforms for the Carbon brakes looks like they are holding up well and lasting, cost wise, comparatively to Steel. I really missed the carbon when I switched to Steel on my old RS, the unsprung weight is signif and I like the peddle action for some reason, it works for me. Getting Mg wheels when available and prob GT2RS style cage from GMG, likely Dundon race headers and side delete with lightweight motorsports battery, I plan on talking with the guys at the factory in regards to modifications and possible advantages. I would have deleted the AC and Radio but then why not just by a Cup!

I'm rather glad I don't like the look of the WP on the 3RS, saves me some cash. If it looked like the 2RS WP I'd feel obligated to get it.

I am doing a track focused build with red brakes and no WP. Will take brakes off and go aftermarket CCB and I can lose more weight by going on a diet.

As said earlier I change daily on WP or not. My order was placed with LG and WP, but build is early September so still time to change. Regardless I will always get steels as I track my cars.

I built mine with PCCB's and no WP. WP looks a little to Fast and the Furious for me.

How about the naca ducts, fender flares, and big wing?
