So what do you suggest genius, anyone worth over $1 million not have kids??
Do you realize many children from well to do families many times have to make their own mark and aren't handed anything or very little?
So you're retired, living paycheck to paycheck and resent those with $$$, but also want to live like a baller with a $200K car. Ummmmmmm ....

Guess my careers are not as valuable as taking over daddies business
I'm standing up for common sense and decency.
Most responsible parents try to give their children a better life then they had, while also teaching them the importance of hard work and financial responsibility.
Obviously there seems to be a pattern of not building wealth in your story which is fine. Don't resent those who make alternate choices.
If someone is willing to loan you $$ for a GT3, good for you. You deserve it

Yes!!! You get it. Takes money to make money. Correct!! Bingo. There is some IQ there.
So ..... back to your example of dying broke and living paycheck to paycheck >> PROHIBITS any chance of DOING WHAT YOU STATED. Cant make $$ if you don't have a pot to **** in.
Have to make sacrifices for the future. Too many wanna be ballers who want too many material things overnight without the $$ to back it up.

I am grateful, roof over my head, kids taken care of and life goes on, you just cannot buy the time back. Being homeless was a humbling experience that I wish on no one. This is why a lot of Rennlisters are out of touch with the day to day struggles to stay alive. After your health, homelessness is the most profound experience and I am willing to bet 99,9% here will never know the feeling.

But no ..... now you live paycheck to paycheck, and getting a huge loan on a GT3. One could argue you're a few paychecks away from a bad situation.
Banking on your GT3 "value" and borrowed retirement fund is risky.
