I think a GT3 turbo would be great. Traded my 15 GT3 for a 18 Turbo, 540hp.New Turbo with Cup 2's is faster at the track than old GT3. Was/am waiting for a .2 GT3, but since production is probably over I doubt it will happen. Love my Turbo though and will gladly keep it till a 992 GT3 comes in. I can only imagine my previous GT3 with the 540 hp turbo engine. Torque is an amazing thing!!!

This rumor is not true, according to a recent talk with Porsche’s head of GT motorsport and GT road cars, Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser. He even wants the last car ever built to be a sports car, a GT3 manual to be exact...

This whole thing has already played out in the Ferrari world. There are some F-enthusiasts who have fully embraced the turbo 488. And there are others who miss the aural delight of the 458 and would never go 488 in spite of the fact that it is faster. I personally fall into the latter of these two groups, and will never deviate because my dislike of turbo engines is firm and unchanging. I've been timing my purchases accordingly, which is why I've got a 458 Italia, 458 Speciale, 991.1 GT3, and soon 991.2 GT3 in my garage - because my days of purchasing new cars are now over. These cars will last me the rest of my life, as I'm now "done." Yes, the wife is happy that I'm done.

Some of you guys are paranoid or delusional. It's clear from Walliser's interview that, at the very least, the next GT3 will still be NA. Beyond that, who knows, but they would like to try.

I read "as long as we can" about 4 times in that article. So hopefully that means they are figuring out a way around the euro emissions standards as "as long as we can" could be that sept 2018 if not.

No way the RS will stay NA but I hope they squeak out one more go around on the GT3. For me, I would not have an interest because it will have the same as the outgoing RS, in terms of HP, and I am done chasing that. The .2 GT3 ticks all my boxes.
