Do PCCBs squeak incessantly?

The PCCBs on my 2015 GT3 squeak like crazy. Likely because I barely touch them during regular street driving (I tend to use a lot of engine braking). As others mentioned, it disappears when tracking, but only for a while. The other solution is to wash the car. That addresses the issue for ~100 miles. Hey, but no brake dust!

FYI the PCCBs on GT cars and on the non GT cars are a LITTLE different. They come with some shim and a different pad compound on the GT cars. This is mainly why Turbo S' and GTS' etc etc don't have almost ANY squeak and are amazing for it. My 991gt3, 911R, GT4 and I'm sure my incoming 991.1 GT3rs with PCCB ALL seem to squeak. Even after you bed the hell out of them, they will still tend to squeak on the road. Some are definitely worse than others though. I do wish they were more quiet though. Maybe they changed things on the new .2?? I would HAPPILY try to retrofit whatever pad setup they use.

This may be a coincidence, but the three Porsches I've owned to date, all new squeak quite a bit when they were new. Once they all hit about 3000 miles or so the squeaking goes away. The PCCBs on my RS with 1300 miles on it squeak like crazy. When I blow them out with a pressure washer, they stop for a few days then gradually make more noise as they get dirty with pad material. The steel brakes on my C2S were the same.

Like Money my 15 GT3 reds squealed for about the first 3000 miles. After that they were pretty quiet.

Steel with Race Technologies RE10 doesn’t squeak and only get dirty after 1000 street mikes.
this is due to the layer of material transfer.
Now driving on Surface Transform CCB rotors and they don’t squeak or get dirty rather but I have only driven a few hundred miles between track days.

I have had cars with the Red and ones with PCCBs. They both squeaked. I think PCCBs a little less but still squeaked. I find that my PCCBs do not sqeak for a couple weeks after a wash but for some reason it is like an alarm that tells me time for a wash- But the squeaks do not bother me. It reminds me how special these cars are

My PCCB's didn't make a bit of noise either. Now that I have the Ferodo DS1.11's, the school bus stop is in full effect. I don't hear squeeking. I hear friction. Perfect.

Mine only squeak when cold.
