The exhaust sound being different between stand GT3 and touring is very intriguing. It doesnt seem to make sense with what really are cosmetic differences from everything we seem to know. Unless somehow the wing / sans wing has some link to exhaust and sound resonance in the cabin.
Can anyone point to something that is mechanically different that would generate sound differences that Chris talks about ?
Kudos to Martin @petrolified. Get in touch if you are looking for a memento of your vehicle. Very nice detail in this format. I also like fact each print is unique and vin numbered for the car / build.

My build.
That is indeed very nice. Does he use the configurator generated pictures as base?
Hello - first GT car coming soon. I have my VIN -- and am doing delivery in Atlanta. Im still completely in the dark of when I should book my trip to Atlanta to pick it up. Any protips for me on how to get this information?
via connect-portal.porsche.com I can see it, i can start services for it,... but that is it so far
Anyone order the dark silver / black houndstooth with Pebble Grey deviated stitching? Wondering how it pairs up. Seems as though the default stitching color with this houndstooth is GT Silver (at least from what I've seen on all the 911Rs that I've looked at).
The Pebble Grey looks like it's a couple shades lighter, almost white.

This might help. JAM2 has a PTS Targa with the houndstooth and pebble grey stitching (and piping). It looks spectacular. Link to thread after pictures. Hope this helps. Very jealous
maybe i'm to matchy matchy but dark blue exterior with black and white pepita wouldn't be my thing..now the the interior had a yellow theme to it maybe...like that PTS GTS Targa that Fresno just had..
East coast here, still waiting. The south and the middle can have the touring as the CARB states are all on the coasts.
Evil one, here’s update on deliveries. Met with my SA at Paul Miller this afternoon, and my Touring arrived yesterday at Davisville (several weeks prior
to “planned date”), along with one other. Also, stated two Tourings have been sitting at the port “for weeks” awaiting CARB approval. So, he thinks they will be “released” within a week. We”ll soon find out!
Just finished a fun two days with the crew from Total911 magazine shooting a cover story on my GT3 Touring and my 964RS. It was months in the planning. We covered 400kms of test driving plus photography. Keep an eye out for the April issue.
i really liked the photographers jacket! Could someone give me a lead what brand it might be??

In case you haven't seen it yet, I started a stand alone thread after shooting some sound clips of the exhaust with PSE on vs off
Thanks Benedict14, wow that looks blue... I think it’s Rhodium Silver stitching and not Pebble Grey... After further investigation, I think the Dark Silver / Black houndstooth probably goes well with any of the greys or silvers (e.g., Platinum, Pebble, GT Silver or Rhodium) stitching.
I think Chris’s car may have an issue, but as far as the difference mechanically between a touring and wing car, the intake ducts are different which could cause a different sound.
