According to Rennlist there are ~150 Touring cars in North America. Of those 150 only 13% are GT Silver. That means 87% are some other color. That also means only about 20 Cars produced in GT Silver.
I think you are incorrect with that number. Not sure where you got that from. Look at the sticky thread on North American production. There are over 700 Tourings in the USA.

Aside from your car count being off, your argument would be that the Touring was rare, rather than any specific color. GT Silver remains one of the most popular Porsche colors on any of their GT cars.

I was getting the info from the Rennlist thread ""The Unofficial 991.2 GT3 Production Number Stats. That thread had a running total up until Dec 2018. And now I realize I was reading that data wrong. More like 13% of 700 cars are GT Silver so, about 90 GT Silver Tourings in NA.

Look at the poll at the beginning of this thread. With 574 responses there were 94 GT silver cars and there were about 150 or more cars unaccounted for. I think your numbers are still off. Also in the other thread at post # 1191 it was last updated June 8, 2020. Not that any of this matters, just trying to be accurate.
Just got some new wheels mounted on my touring! Can't say enough good things about Arling and his shop RStrada down in LA. These BBS wheels look so much better than stock.
Looks great and agree the BBS Motorsport wheels look fantastic on car.

They do look fantastic. Those FI-R? Will need a second set of rims at some point and rather go with something non-stock...not familiar with the BBSer's for the GT3 (Have FI-R on my M3, these look similar but may be different)

Interestingly enough, I’ve gotten a couple PMs about the wheels since posting.
These are RE-MTSP style from BBS. They are forged aluminum and in my opinion better for the street than their magnesium counterpart.
The picture that convinced me was this wheel on a nato olive speedster.

Yeah! They look fantastic, I'm obviously partial to that spoke pattern as well. I've seen the green one before but they look great on yours. Well, when I get time will do some researching. Thanks!
