Pic from today's drive up the Pacific Coast Highway — "Kills bugs fast" indeed
Random question: Does anyone wish they'd gotten Bi-Xenons instead of LEDs, or vice versa? I sorta wish I'd gone stock or PDLS to get the more traditional look (the LEDs look... interesting), but I do love the performance of the LEDs at night. I wish they'd implemented the LED lights with a more traditional, one bulb look though. Maybe one day someone will figure out how to swap 'em.
Happy with the poverty spec stock lights, thought about LEDs but the cheap Luddite in me would not let it happen. 992 has one bulb look LED so the double bulb 991 LED look is being replaced.
I think that a classic Touring configuration with silver trim and the standard Xenons are a perfect match. I would have paid extra for the Xenons if the LEDs had been standard.
It‘s a shame that they never offered the single bulb LEDs of the Speedster concept for the Touring.

In retrospect, I agree!
Thats a great point about the Speedster concept headlights... We should petition Porsche to put them up for sale as aftermarket upgrades / Tequipment! Anyone here have a connection?

not a touring or GT car owner anymore as of right now, but I specced my .2 with LEDs and I agree with you - I ultimately changed my mind to prefer the PDLS xenons over the LED look
Was happy that my next 991 came with the darker/black PDLS vs black or silver LEDs, I ended up liking the single 4 dot look more than the halo rings 2 bulb look
PAG must have agreed because the 992 LEDs seem to mimic the 4 dot 991 PDLS well vs the halo ring of the 991 LEDs
Fast sale, as expected. Hope you find another example you like soon. Will PM you any leads.

Not sure if it would be a deal breaker for me such as missing ceramics or buckets, but after having black LED’s with PDLS+, it would be tough to go back. Love both the form and function.
My 991.2 winged car had the LED. I was able to get an allocation and speced the base lights in the touring because I preferred the one bulb look. I figured I don't drive much at night so I would not need it. After using them I can tell you they are almost as good as the LED. The light is a little more spotty but the are as bright or brighter than the LED.
