The car isn't decent, it's spectacular.

Even SPECTACULAR might be an under statement.

That's good to hear.

Put down deposit in March 2016. Getting car in Jan 2019. I'm sick of waiting and even contemplated getting a different car.

Try to be patient, once it's here, you'll forget about the wait. It's that good and you'll have one very special car.

With every car I've owned, I would have one eye on the next car to own before the first car wash lol. The fickleness of my car obsession is a curse.

But...the Touring is the first car I've owned where I haven't daydreamed about what's next. Have I thought about the .2 GT3RS? Or even the 600LT? Sure. But would I replace the Touring with one of those? I've come to the conclusion that I would not. And so, I can enjoy my current car completely without dreaming about the next. It's a good place to be...finally.

With that said, I do want a PTS Touring. Damn it!

The car is amazing. I waited nearly a year from the time order was submitted. I also explored other car options during my wait, including a 2011 RS 4.0 and a 911R. Ultimately I held off as I didn't feel the premium would be worth it (depreciation wise when combined with the amount of miles I put on my cars). The car arrived and did not disappoint. Already over 1,100 miles in 7 weeks during nights and weekends. And with Antigravity lightweight battery and Dundon long tube headers, its perfection.

Glad to hear this from GT3T owners. I guess 2 more months don't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

Agree- I have the Wingey manual and would never get rid of. I may add to it but first car I know I would not part with.

Not unless they come out with say a GT3 Touring Cab- now that may be a game changer.

Thank you, @marchitect ! I've been enjoying my 50th Anniversary 911, but needed to reduce accumulation of miles as I'm nearing 40k. Words cannot express how happy I am with my new GT3 Touring.

Thank you, @texascarlover ! I'd love to connect with your friend and understand why he parted with this amazing machine after so few miles. I'm assuming he took delivery of a GT3 or GT2 RS and the Touring was too tame.

I feel the same as you. I've had other cars higher up the food chain but this Touring has stopped me from thinking about any other car.

Somewhatlo - Gorgeous car! The blue and the yellow work so well together! And with the removal of SBM from the configurator, you now have a "PTS" color without the PTS price! Lucky you!
