This one was taken at the dealership....I put 230 miles on it since Saturday when I picked it up.... This car is a great mix of old and new...it reminds me of the sounds like my 81 911 SC and the smoothness of my 91 964....to me the ultimate Porsche 911......

Congrats on going with the 18-ways. If I was to start over again I'd go with them despite almost everyone passionately advising me to go LWBs. I haven't actually driven one with 18-ways yet but I think it might bring back a bit more of the 911 practicality (ie sports car you can drive everywhere/daily) which I now miss from my 964. I'm starting to realize how integral to the 911 DNA that is/was. Mine with the LWBs can sometimes be a little in no-mans-land between "im a race car" and "im not really a race car"
I really like the 18 ways....as you know Ferrari also has LWB...their "rake" seats...and when I bought my 458 I was steered away from them to their version of an 18 way....I could not be happier....
Awesome! Saw this color on a 918 at a Cars and Coffee; it is superb
PS did you get your car dyno-ed yet with the dundon race headers?
Thanks! I always thought this color originally originated from a 918 request, since it was approved in 2014/2015. Makes sense. I did dyno the car, but I’m waiting to dyno it again at another dynojet after the Thanksgiving Holidays to verify the results. Once that’s done, I’ll make a thread to report the findings.

I'm loving the 18 ways also. Crazy comfortable ride in a GT3. I caught the open window for GT Silver Deviating Stitching, so did that on dash, doors, seat backs (in leather), steering wheel and column, console cover, etc.

Does this quote above mean that GT silver deviated stitching is no longer an option?

It seems that the availability of deviating stitching in any color other than the "standard option" red depends on what's going on at the factory when you lock your order. For most of the year the window was closed for deviating stitching on the 18 ways (other than red), but it was open more often for the buckets.
