Thanks guys for the kind remarks. The car turned out even better than I envisioned. Since January all I had to go on were memories and these pics (and a prayer that I didn’t goof it up):
fxr: yes you are correct, the interior looks way better in person but I haven’t taken proper pics of it yet, I’m still taking in the OG.
seats were the inserts via CXX I think they were $3500??? (It’s been so long ago with many ups and downs I honestly forgot what the cost is in CAD). All worth it IMO. To me they tie in with the exterior and completes the classic theme.
About the lights: I like the PDLS look better also, esp with the DRL on (Just personal taste). I also did silver seatbelts to pick up on the silver/ chrome fangs inside the lights (vain.... I know). This should all be complimented by clear side markers due by this weekend. (And Akrapovic Ti exhaust tips would play into the Ti rim around the headlights). I actually asked if I could get the black touring package with chrome tailpipes during my visit; that was one request that seemed to have been entertained but subsequently denied.
