Is that four Tourings for each non-T...or the other way around?

Here are a few photos of a GT3 Touring spec we did for a client in Germany. We cycled through many different stripe options before deciding on the final one that you see here.

Does there exist such a thing as a "smoke" or tint material suitable to be used for stripes? Seems like a lot of designs would be easier to just have a transparent tint than trying to color match always.

There are transparent vinyls, but typically it gives the paint a weird "glassy look," isn't as durable, and rarely creates the desired effect. This is because rather than creating a darker version of the paint, it puts a black haze on top of it. The best way to describe it is tinted tail lights. Even the lightest tint will often distort the red from the lights and give it a dark muted effect rather than ghost.

So while it is more difficult, it is better to get results from a vinyl chosen that is a decent color match.

Interesting, makes sense. I was also wondering if stripes could be done with a clear matte stripe for a subtle effect. Not sure if there is a product for that, or if using a PPF in stealth/matte is the way to go.

I'm officially sitting at V210. No more changes. Sent over some pics of target design. Looking forward to see the final renders and hopefully getting the real thing after October production = December delivery. That wait, the decisions, the struggle has been real...lol.

Working on some GT3 Touring renderings, and decided to create a CXX spec for myself... Yachting Blue Metallic PTS with Espresso/Luxor Beige two tone Leather to Sample with pepita inserts on the seats.
