interesting that elise and macan have similar power to weight ratios of about 10.5:1. does it make difference re ptv that elise does it through light weight while macan has higher power? is car more likely to spin tire in turn if it is like elise or macan? and what about mclaren very high hp not having lsd? doesnt seem to matter in their cars. or does it? so confusing

True re 4 cyl lotus but what about mclaren? They use open diff too yet no one complains about it

Because it's AWD and torque vectors the power between the front and rear as needed. It's the AWD drive system from the 911. The system is bias to the rear. You can monitor the power transfer on the dash. If you disconnected the front drive, the open diff will most likely be noticeable. But as is with the AWD system the Macan does well in the dry/wet/snow without the PTV.
