If build is not locked, I will cancel Monday.
I had to decide quick today, figured better not needed, then missed buti can’t find anything about better lighting.
What they exactly do, I don’t know. The regular new ones don’t look THAT silver anymore?
I’m getting a bit night blind and have to drive with goofy yellow Rx glasses.
Here's a good video by Nick Murray showing the difference in lights

Will happily continue driving the ‘old one’ though. Took it on a blast through the Eifel yesterday, and what a beast. Still amazed how well these work on road and track, and the on the 300km cruise home (ok, the sound system could be better for the latter.. )

Thanks Seth, anything you have just dump in my inbox. Just rough data, I’ll Google the rest
The planning starts this week, sharing notes with fellow Rennlisters also picking up cars Dec - May.
Haha! For sure.
Actually there are several people that wrote letters / Fedexed them to Atlanta on my behalf and others put in a good word for me some and calls were made.
I couldn’t bring myself to go the begging / arguing route because that would wrinkle the romance, and didn’t ask others to either.
But they did anyway. Big thanks to those guys.
I may never know for sure but haven’t seen anyone else pop-up this weekend with new allocations.
Thank you.
Yes, this time no trailer and Tires needed. The 20/21” tires are now available. I’ll probably pre-order and deliver some at nearby Porsche dealers on route.
If you can dump any key words, places hotel names in my inbox I’ll sort it out from there
Thats way ahead of schedule. I’d be happy to take it later or swap with someone for a spring 2019 delivery.
I asked dealer but he almost choked, haha. We have a car, no PTS and no WP but you can do ED. He was instructed well, hehe..
Its not easy to compete with 100 YouTube followers LOL!
Thanks Dave, Imola added :-)
I don’t know what the chances are of dry weather in Italy and southern France Spain Portugal.
i figure till Dec maybe gamble it Jan - March I need to be where it doesn’t snow.
April - May Ring, Spa, Zandvoort, maybe UK tracks..
But I’ll start with just finding all track days and go from there...

Porsche has some of the greatest engineers in the world who spend years and countless dollars to optimize these components, not to mention test the components rigorously to ensure durability. I’ve never understood why people then tear apart these pieces for minimal gains (if any) appreciable gains. Plus, risking warranty voiding expensive repairs!
i understand changes in cheaper out of warranty vehicles when components need repair, replaced, ect. But to tear apart a beautiful new RS is just dumbfounding!

Here's mine over here in the UK, arrived end of May.
A few questions if anyone can help... I have put the rear wing to the max aero setting, easy job, I am told that there are also some front plastic covers to remove as part of this process, can anyone confirm where these are?
Finally, I am going to fit a centre bypass, can this be down without bumper removal?

Nice and good news as I want to do the same!

Manthey stuff is secret.
Guess I’ll drop by there after, in 2015 they couldn’t be bothered but that was perhaps because nobody at the time had an idea what worked.
Im sure by now it’s all sorted in an afternoon.

Trakcar> didn't mean to be confusing. We discussed the .2 RS and you were clear you planned to be patient.
That strategy worked for you to secure the .2RS
My regional PCNA guy had told me that all allocations were allocated when I asked if more would show up end of 2018 or early in 2019.
I now wonder if more allocations will pop up or perhaps different regions have different allocations.
Still wishing is all.

I meant confusing me with a black car.
no worries.
Im sure there will be more allocations coming, or I wouldn’t know why not.
They are nowhere near ready to stop making $200K cars with gigantic markups.
Its VW / Porsche. Not Tesla.
