Very happy :-)
Congrats Peter! I knew it would happen.
Im still waiting for an RS allocation. I’m hoping the dealer I have bought 9 cars from comes through. However, I am in no rush. I still don’t have my new GT3 in the US yet. I’m hoping to do ED next spring again, but with an RS. We’ll see. If that happens, I’m trading the 570S for the RS and I’m done with cars for a long time. I don’t think I can beat a manual GT3 and a PDK RS.

Congrats on the new RS Peter. Looking forward to following your ED adventure. If you need some notes on Portimao and places to stay while there I have some good notes after racing in the 24-Hour race there this past July.

Not a miracle Peter:

I said to Porsche: "Is there one guy who truly is an ambassador for Porsche and who really deserves a Lizard, it is Peter!"

Congratulations!

There is hope after all!

Can you tell them the same about me please.

Waiting to have my mid 2019 slot confirmed.

Will happily continue driving the ‘old one’ though. Took it on a blast through the Eifel yesterday, and what a beast. Still amazed how well these work on road and track, and the on the 300km cruise home (ok, the sound system could be better for the latter.. )

These RS cars, meant for tracking are actually now going to those guys like trakcar. Guess one less C&C owner. Imagine the ***** to track an RS, lol. Enjoy it, Most owners will be at local C.& C, enjoying PTS colors and all that value plus CCX options

Congrats, Peter - that’s brilliant news!

You should add Imola to that list - it’s close to Mugello and they’re both fantastic tracks in a beautiful location.

I need to find someone to compel my dealer too..

Thanks! Mine was unusual, but never the less, I think the waves of allocations will keep coming.
Ill re-ignite my ED trip or start a new one, hoping to meet up with Rennlisters again during ED.

Its hard to improve on a manual and PDK 4.0 I’d say.
Too bad Porsche dealers make it so hard.

Thanks Seth, anything you have just dump in my inbox. Just rough data, I’ll Google the rest
The planning starts this week, sharing notes with fellow Rennlisters also picking up cars Dec - May.

Haha! For sure.
Actually there are several people that wrote letters / Fedexed them to Atlanta on my behalf and others put in a good word for me some and calls were made.
I couldn’t bring myself to go the begging / arguing route because that would wrinkle the romance, and didn’t ask others to either.
But they did anyway. Big thanks to those guys.
I may never know for sure but haven’t seen anyone else pop-up this weekend with new allocations.

Thank you.
Yes, this time no trailer and Tires needed. The 20/21” tires are now available. I’ll probably pre-order and deliver some at nearby Porsche dealers on route.
If you can dump any key words, places hotel names in my inbox I’ll sort it out from there

Thats way ahead of schedule. I’d be happy to take it later or swap with someone for a spring 2019 delivery.
I asked dealer but he almost choked, haha. We have a car, no PTS and no WP but you can do ED. He was instructed well, hehe..

Thanks Dave, Imola added :-)

I don’t know what the chances are of dry weather in Italy and southern France Spain Portugal.
i figure till Dec maybe gamble it Jan - March I need to be where it doesn’t snow.
April - May Ring, Spa, Zandvoort, maybe UK tracks..
But I’ll start with just finding all track days and go from there...
